Proenza Schouler is one of the brands that has contributed most to the growth of the American fashion scene over the last 20 years. Founded in 2002 in New York by designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. The two met while studying at Parson's School of Design and decided to collaborate on their graduate thesis, creating Proenza Schouler's first collection. The brand takes its name from the maiden names of the designers' mothers. Since the opening of its first store in 2003, Proenza Shouler has been distributed in 350 boutiques all over the world.
