Francesco Scognamiglio is an Italian fashion designer who studied at the Istituto Superiore di Design in Naples and started his career by collaborating with important fashion houses such as Versace. In 1998, he opened his first mono-brand boutique and two years later, he presented his first haute couture collection inspired by the 1980s. Since then, Scognamiglio has created dresses for celebrities such as Eva Riccobono, Paola & Chiara, and Madonna, who wore some of his dresses in the Give It 2 Me music video and at the 2014 Grammy Awards. In 2009, Scognamiglio debuted in the field of men's fashion with the Allegri brand, while in 2010, he created a bizarre layered dress worn by Lady Gaga at the BRIT Awards. His runway shows have featured famous models such as Daiane Conterato, Coco Rocha, Irina Lazareanu, Karmen Pedaru, Catherine McNeil, and Maria Carla Boscono, among others. Recently, Scognamiglio's dress was worn by Emma at the red carpet of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest.
