Emanuel Ungaro

Emanuel Ungaro is one of the oldest brands in post-war French fashion. The brand was born in 1965 by the creative genius Emmanuel Ungaro, the French designer who had already previously been at the helm of Balenciaga. A brilliant and successful career has led the designer of Italian origin to dress the most beautiful women in the world in bold colors and exuberant fantasies during his 40-year career. By welcoming Emanuel Ungaro on the runways, the brand opened its doors to young designers who soon became true references in the fashion world, such as Giambattista Valli, creative director from 1997 to 2002, Giles Deacon from 2010 to 2013 and then Fausto Puglisi up until 2017. From the 2018 season, the collections are being designed by Marco Colagrossi, former Senior Designer for Dolce&Gabbana..
